MGODIN LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the LitNow social networking application (the "App"). This policy outlines our stance on protecting minors through clear prohibitions and user accountability.
Intended for Adults: The App is designed for users aged 18 years or older. We do not market to, solicit, or knowingly engage with minors.
No Biometric Data Collection:
We do not request, analyze, or store biometric identifiers (e.g., facial scans, voiceprints) for age verification or any other purpose.
User-Declared Compliance:
By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We rely on user honesty rather than technical verification.
Consequences of Misrepresentation:
Falsely claiming adult status violates our Terms of Use and may result in account termination.
The following will result in immediate account termination and legal reporting:
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM):
Sharing, soliciting, or discussing CSAM in any form (images, videos, text, or coded language).
Endangerment of Minors:
Depicting minors in violent, sexual, or dangerous situations (e.g., drug use, self-harm).
Promoting trafficking, grooming, or coercion targeting minors.
No Parental Controls: The App does not provide parental monitoring tools. Guardians are advised to supervise minors’ device usage.
Reporting Underage Users: If you suspect a minor is using the App, follow these steps to report:
Navigate to the User Profile:
Tap the user’s avatar to access their profile page.
Initiate Report:
Click the ⋮ (More) button in the top-right corner.
Select Report Option:
Choose “Report” > “Other” from the menu.
Submit Details:
In the text field, specify “Underage User” and provide relevant context (e.g., username, observed behavior).
Reactive Moderation:
We rely on user reports and post-upload human reviews to identify violations.
Prohibited content involving minors is removed within 24 hours of reporting.
Legal Compliance:
Confirmed CSAM cases are reported to NCMEC or local authorities.
In-App Reporting: Click "Report" on any profile/content, select Child Data Privacy & Abusive Media, and submit.
24/7 Escalation: All child safety reports are prioritized and reviewed within 24 hours.
We report CSAM and grooming attempts to:
United States: National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
EU/UK: INHOPE network partners and local law enforcement.
Data Retention for Investigations:
Relevant account details and content are preserved for 90 days post-report to aid authorities.
Account Penalties:
First-time offenders: Permanent ban and device/IP block.
Severe cases (e.g., CSAM distribution): Immediate data handover to law enforcement.
No Appeals: We do not reinstate accounts terminated for child safety violations.
If you encounter child exploitation outside the App, contact:
Americas: NCMEC Hotline (1-800-THE-LOST)
Europe: INHOPE Reporting Portal
Global: ECPAT International
